Asia’s first regional countdown show broadcast live from Jakarta last weekend.
Asia Pop 40, which is hosted by Dom Lau, came from the studios of affiliate Prambors Radio.
The show airs weekly on Prambors’ eight station network which includes Bandung, Surabaya and Medan.
Dom tried to keep control of the three-hour show which proved difficult when he was joined in the studio by Prambors favourites, drive-time hosts Danang and Darto, better know as The Dandees.
DJ Okki, host of Indonesia’s longest running chart show also took part.
Okki hosts the Prambors Top 40, which has been on-air for thirty years.
Australian-Indonesian singer-songwriter Alphamama was another guest on AP40 live from Jakarta.
AP40 also airs in Singapore and Thailand.
