The facebook page of Nepal’s Radio Kantipur reached one million likes by users on Wednesday, according to ekantipur.com.

This makes the Kantipur Media Group station the most ‘liked’ from the country on the social networking site.

According to the station, sections on current affairs, sports, entertainment and the talk show ‘The Headliners’ are liked and shared most often on its page.

Users outside Nepal also use the page to send in their song requests to the station.

Radio Kantipur has also started sharing the feedback received from the Facebook page on its news section, Vox Pop.
