Taiwan’s national broadcaster is hiring radio program hosts to host future live FM radio programs. Programs include news talk shows and shows about life in Taiwan and Taiwan’s music. Program hosts will prepare program content and also write and broadcast brief news reports and post them on social media.
FM radio program hosts at Radio Taiwan International English Service (contract-based)
You’ll be hosting a live FM radio program at RTI, Taiwan’s national broadcaster, and writing brief news reports for radio and social media platforms. Program hosting opportunities include daily news talk shows, programs about life in Taiwan and Taiwan music.
We are looking for people passionate about hosting excellent radio programs about Taiwan.
Job responsibilities:
- 1.Host and prepare content for radio program
- 2.Write and read English news stories
- 3.Post news on website and social media
Requirements:
- 1.University degree
- 2.Excellent command of spoken and written English
- 3.Ability to comment on program content: e.g. Taiwan news, living in Taiwan and/or music
- 4.Committed to learning and enacting best journalism practices
Preferred skills:
- 1.Extensive knowledge of Taiwan news, life in Taiwan and/or Taiwan music
- 2.Journalism experience
- 3.Able to read and speak Mandarin
