Voice of rugby returns

As he prepares to call the rugby Test series between the Wallabies and the British and Irish Lions, Gordon Bray admits he is ”a bit like a cat on a hot tin roof”. But the man known as ”the voice of rugby”, and regarded as one of this country’s finest commentators, has revealed that, until recently, he thought his time may be up… "I was commentating with 2GB – Ray Hadley gave me that opportunity – and I ended up calling four of Australia’s seven gold medals. That really drove home the point how lucky I am to be in this situation and how much I enjoy commentating."
