Former ABC presenter Andy Muirhead was released from prison last month after his sentence for child pornography offences was cut. The former radio and Collectors host’s sentence was officially 10 months but was cut to five months with backdating and security of a $5000 three-year period of good behaviour. Muirhead had pleaded guilty to three charges of downloading more than 12,000 pornographic images and videos.
