While most Australians took advantage of this super long Easter and ANZAC Day weekend, for many in Radio, particularly on air staff, it was business as usual – just as it is at Christmas, New Year and other public holidays. Long and varied hours is part and parcel of a job in Radio. Why do we put up with it? Mainly because we want to. For many, it is their first love – having been in Radio long before they got married.
