There’s been plenty of talk on this forum about dwindling job vacancies and how tough it is to break into radio. Yet by the time this year’s class at AFTRS graduate, many will already have jobs to go to.

As a young jock or other hopeful, what’s been your experience? And let’s hear from management on what makes for a good application. How do they separate the good ones from the bad, the great ones from the good? Or is it more a case of who you know than what you know?
