A gorilla loose in Sydney

Bill Caralis reckons he’s good at picking names. Gorilla is certainly the most ‘innovative’ name for a digital radio station radioinfo has heard about so far in the roll out of digital radio. What do you think of the name? With a name like that what will be its target audience and what sort of programming will it have?

Perhaps Supernetwork already has a plan, or perhaps they may welcome some suggestions from readers.

And while you’re at it, why not suggest the logo and graphics for the station. Some radioinfo readers, with tongue firmly in cheek we think, have suggested a logo showing King Kong atop the Centrepoint tower, or a gorilla in a track suit. What are your suggestions?

This focum is also still open to comments on last week’s topic about community radio management.

As usual, you are under no obligation to stick to this topic. You may use this forum to express any view you like, provided it has something to do with radio and provides no grounds for litigation.
