The ABC. Which Cut Should Be Deepest?

The ABC has just cut $200,000 from radio and much more from its other divisions. While losing TV programs like Behind the News, it is developing a new show with Amanda Keller.

Senator Alston thinks the ABC is playing political games by making the cuts where it has done. Is he right?

If you were Russell Balding, Managing Director of the ABC, would you have cut less or nothing from Radio? Or would you be harder on Radio – if so what programs or networks would be in your sights and why? Or maybe you would have given radio more because it can do so much with so little?

Be ABC MD for the day – without the responsibility. Tell us what you would’ve done and why.
