A night dedicated to celebrating outstanding work in radio, television, and digital media was the highlight of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) Prizes 2025 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
The ABU Prizes are among the most prestigious program awards in the region, honouring the best radio, television, and digital media content from member organizations.
Some notable winners included China Media Group-China National Radio (CMG-CNR), which won three awards in the radio/audio category:
- Radio/Audio On-Air Personality for “Love in the Airwaves: My Storytelling Journey on Little Trumpet”
- Radio/Audio Perspective Award for “Three Fateful Encounters”
- Radio/Audio Special Jury Prize for “I’ll Always Be a Storyteller”
Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) won the Best Radio/Audio Documentary for “Silent Teacher.”
The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) took home the Radio/Audio Podcast Award for “The Last Voyage of the Rainbow Warrior.”
The Voice Of Vietnam (VOV) won the Radio/Audio community service Award for “The Bitterness of Belated Regret.”
