Masti Media Network, which runs Radio Masti 24×7, the only live Bollywood radio broadcasting across SEA region, recently organised Masti Showcase 2025, Singapore’s largest Indian singing talent competition.
The event, launched in 2011, has grown to become a unique platform that nurtures local talent while celebrating diversity through music.
This year’s showcase was held in partnership with Harmony Circle, People’s Association, and IAEC Mountbatten, in conjunction with Racial Harmony Month. The grand finale, which featured performances in Hindi and Tamil, took place across two categories—Adults and Young Adults—and included special multicultural acts in Malay, Mandarin, Cantonese, and even a poetry recital in Bengali, reflecting the rich cultural fabric of Singapore.
The finals were judged by respected figures from Singapore’s music community including Amit Dhamelia, Ravindran Parchure, Vicknesvari Vadivalagan and K.V. Godha.
Since its inception in 2009, Masti Media Network has become a household name, creating meaningful cultural programming through its digital platforms, including Radio Masti 24×7 and MastiAVI. Initially launched on Mediacorp’s XFM96.3, the network transitioned to a fully digital format in 2016 following regulatory changes and has since reached over 1.2 million users in Singapore alone.
Masti has previously partnered with the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) and the National Integration Council on projects like the Montage of Singapore series, providing a platform for diverse communities to share their stories. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Masti also launched a Bangla radio stream in less than a week to support migrant workers, an initiative acknowledged by the Ministry of Manpower and the Ministry of Communications and Information.
