‘Happy Hour’ on Phuket Island Radio

Thailand’s Phuket Island radio is now available on two frequencies – 91.5FM and 92.75FM throughout Phuket.

According to the station, it is a ‘Happy Hour Radio’ format and the addition of the 92.75 FM frequency will offer a much better coverage in the South and South West of Phuket in Chalong, Rawai, Nai Harn, Kata Noi and Kata.

Over the coming weeks the station will focus on the North West of Phuket, Surin Bang Tao and Laguna areas to improve its 91.5FM broadcast.

Phuket Island Radio will continue with its original strategy of providing Positive Phuket Promotion –  daytime music that fits its main demographic, with a tag line of ‘Better Music Less Chat’.

“This is a most exciting time for our company,” said Kanyarat Jones, Director, Phuket Island Radio. “We have received so much support and good wishes from the community and our friends it is all a little overwhelming.”

The station also continues to grow its online with global streaming servers, various mobile apps and radio portals like TuneIn with over 10,000 listeners.
