KBS reaches out to foreign Korean speakers

Korea’s public broadcaster, KBS World Radio has launched a ‘Korean Language Video Contest’ to help non-Koreans practice and showcase their Korean language skills.

It is open to foreign nationals with a love for the Korean language living outside of Korea.

Participants can pick one of the two assigned topics to write a speech and create a short video

These topics are “My Favorite Korean Word” and “How I study Korean.”

The grand prize winner will have a chance to visit Korea.

Applications are accepted until July 13, 2014.
