93.5 Red FM is to salute retiring renowned Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar with an eight day tribute named “RED FM pe Sachin-200 not out!
This week, Tendulkar will bow out of the sport after reaching his 200th test game, having become the greatest batsman of his generation.
To mark the occasion, the station has begun 200 hours of non-stop Sachin programming, sponsored by TV network Star Sports.
All of Red FM’s radio jockeys (RJs) are taking part, the station says.
To keep it fun, several on air games are being played, including the “Jhapka toh Tapka challenge”, where Red FM RJs will randomly call up registered mobile numbers at any hour of the night to play a contest.
The station has also roped in support from several celebrities, all keen to pay their own respects to the retiring cricketer.

The tribute will run on Red FM’s stations in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Jaipur, Kanpur, Indore, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Lucknow, Cochin, Baroda, & Nagpur, simultaneously.
