Former Radio City RJ Manish Paul has made his Bollywood debut in the film Mickey Virus,  a comic thriller set in the Indian capital New Delhi.

Paul hosted the morning drive time show, Kasakai Mumbai, on Radio City before turning to TV presenting and acting in top Indian soap operas.

The new film, about a lazy but street-smart hacker, opened on Friday to mostly positive reviews.

Paul even sings one of the songs on the soundtrack, “Pyaar China Ka Maal Hai”.

Reports suggest the Hindi film will be remade in Tamil and Telugu.

Last week, he visited the Mumbai studios of 92.7 BIG FM, telling RJ Siddhath (pictured with him) about the fun he had making the movie and what it takes to be a actor.
