4BC’s David McDonald upset by Radio Maroon Origin broadcast

Radio station 4BC has accused Radio Maroon of "making sporting rights worthless” in response to tonight’s Queensland-only broadcast of the Origin decider. 4BC general manager David McDonald is crying foul over Radio Maroon – created by The Courier-Mail and radio station 98.9FM in response to the NSW-stacked commentary teams on television and radio that have broadcast the series. While Radio Maroon will be broadcast from a studio at West End, 4BC will take an authorised call from Sydney station 2GB from inside the ground.
