DOES ADVERTISING FOR ADVERTISING WORK?

Television has a campaign running right now. Radio does it every now and again too. Remember the “radio is word of mouth” campaign a few years ago? Why did it stop?

If advertising for advertisers doesn’t help pull in new business, then what does that say about the effectiveness of advertising?
