Blame It On The Boss Of NOVA?

Staff at Melbourne’s NOVA couldn’t believe their luck last week when a FOX listener database accidentally landed in their laps. Rather than inform FOX of their mistake, NOVA sent an email to everyone on the list encouraging them to switch by demonstrating how they played more music than FOX.

Is all fair in love, war and radio? Is this healthy competition or a bridge too far? Will it win audience for NOVA or could it backfire? What sort of image does it project for the radio industry? Do your own cost/benefit analysis and tell us; would you have done it if you were the Boss of NOVA?
